I thought that things like this get better with time
But I still need you, why is that

So I stil see you , around ....

Naysayer and Gilsun

I saw Naysayer (easily confused with Yeasayer) and Gilsun last last friday night and it was electro-amazing and visually engaging.

The duo from Melbourne sample clips from films and fuse it into free mind feet dancing electronic beats.

Check out their stuff , Naysayer and Gilsun !

Let It Die

Re-fallen in love with this album.
Listening to Feist makes the day seem a little less grey.

Yay or Nay ?

Lana Del Rey.
It's either a love or hate relationship with this upcoming singer.
There's a fair bit of media hype over Lana right now and Triple J have it as a feature album.

First single, Video Games, is strangely haunting and beautiful in an old school way.
Second single, Born to Die, has an alluring opening with an addictive beat behind Lana's voice.

Right now Lana Del Rey is a mmm 'yay' for me.

KANYESUS

I saw Kanye West live last Friday night and OMFG it was an amazing performance.

He started the show with Dark Fantasy and hands down it was the best opening I've ever seen. The bass from the speakers was so intense, I could feel my body vibrating and then out of nowhere Kanye is standing on a cherry picker floating out from the smoke and doing his mojo.

Stage setup was amazing, Kanye's ballet dancers were beautiful and Kanye's perfection is respectful. The fact that he repeated All Of The Lights cause the crowd didn't sing loud enough to the part 'My N is dead', makes me love him more.

Arctic Monkeys

I saw the Monkeys play live last Thursday and it was a great gig with lots of 'doo-doo-deenn-deenn'.
Miles Kane and Alex did a great duet during the night , I wish I knew what the song title was ...

It was a good mix of old and new songs with a few of my favourites played.

Work Survival Tip No. 1 - Music

I'm still obsessed with this album ! 'Oh laa love'
Warning - Head bobbing action might occur when listening to The Drums.
Especially to the track 'How It Ended' ... *bob bob bob*
Recently discovered this album and slowly falling in love with it , especially when work is feeling a bit stagnant.

I have a feeling the next six months is going to be hectic at work.
Lets hope 2012 music will be decently awesome.
