LomoMatrix - A Place Where You Never Grow Up

Last weekend I participated in the Sydney LomoMatrix shoot day.

There was plenty of sun, party poppers, balloons, onesie, giraffe mask, bubble machine and being dorky.

A LomoMatrix short film will be produced soon, like this, but with Sydney's awesomeness.

I'm a Z-Class celebrity ! YAY !

January 2013 has been such a bizarre and distressing month.
Never have I experienced such raw heart breaking emotions.

Hoping the rest of 2013 brings on positive outcomes and experiences.
Moving on and not looking back. Smiles

Lonerism

Recently went to the Tame Impala gig and it was a colourful trippy experience.
This could be due to the fact everyone around us was puffing on some green tea.

Overall great gig, addictive jelly fish visuals and amazing sounds from Tame Impala.

Naysayer and Gilsun

I saw Naysayer (easily confused with Yeasayer) and Gilsun last last friday night and it was electro-amazing and visually engaging.

The duo from Melbourne sample clips from films and fuse it into free mind feet dancing electronic beats.

Check out their stuff , Naysayer and Gilsun !

Hola Autumn

I love watching maple tree leaves change from vibrant green to sleepy yellow-brown, as the seasons change.

Sunny Easter

Four day Easter break is over and I'm still feeling tired and non-energised for work tomorrow.
Not sure what's going on with my body , but i'm constantly feeling tired and ready for an afternoon nap.
Fingers-cross that I'll get the doctor's thumb ups to do active stuff.

I'm counting down to my 5 week break !

Blurred Memory

I blame the mixing of alcohol and antibiotics for my drunk engineering shenanigans.

Cocktail Magic

One of my favourite bars in Sydney is Grandma's.

Grandma's cocktails are always deliciously made with a concoction of nice alcohols (or sometimes with strange blue glowing alcohol).

The venue is small and cosy, the bartenders are hipsters and the toilet system is Nippon unique.

KANYESUS

I saw Kanye West live last Friday night and OMFG it was an amazing performance.

He started the show with Dark Fantasy and hands down it was the best opening I've ever seen. The bass from the speakers was so intense, I could feel my body vibrating and then out of nowhere Kanye is standing on a cherry picker floating out from the smoke and doing his mojo.

Stage setup was amazing, Kanye's ballet dancers were beautiful and Kanye's perfection is respectful. The fact that he repeated All Of The Lights cause the crowd didn't sing loud enough to the part 'My N is dead', makes me love him more.

Aunt Mai's 15 Minutes Sorbet

My auntie made strawberry sorbet as a dessert for last night Chinese New Year dinner.

It was so yummy, refreshing and super easy to make. North America
All you need is frozen strawberries, sugar syrup, lemon juice and a food processor.

We were discussing what sorbets we could make next time ... lychee is next on the menu followed by pineapple. Nom away peeps.

Arctic Monkeys

I saw the Monkeys play live last Thursday and it was a great gig with lots of 'doo-doo-deenn-deenn'.
Miles Kane and Alex did a great duet during the night , I wish I knew what the song title was ...

It was a good mix of old and new songs with a few of my favourites played.
